SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT
   
   Dear Colleagues,

   We have a great pleasure to inform you during our meeting we will have a mini-course of 5 hours, namely: "Topological K-theory from the point of view of C*-algebras and Fredholm representations" will be given by Prof. A.S.Mishchenko, from Moscow University.

   2.05.2004 (Sunday) is planed as the day of arrival. The University coach will leave the Institute of Mathematics of the Jagiellonnian University at 3.30 p.m. The return Bus from Krynica to Cracov is planed on 8.05.2003 at about 1.30 pm.

   Krynica http://www.krynica.pl/ can be easily reached by bus from Krakow or by train which however takes much longer to arrive to its destination. There are also direct trains from Warsaw to Krynica. Krakow can be reached easily from Warsaw by fast trains which leave Warszawa Centralna railway station at 6:15, 7:15, 8:150, 9:15, 12.15, 14:15, 17:15, 18:15, 20:15. The journey, without any stop, takes about 2.40 h, unfortunately the reservation is obligatory. See http://www.pkp.com.pl for more details.

   Jagiellonnian University has two hotels situated very conveniently in the city center. If you would like to reserve a room before or after the conference, please contact Robert Wolak directly (Robert.Wolak@im.uj.edu.pl); it costs about 50 Euros per night.
