We are pleased to inform you that the sixth conference of the cycle initiated in 1998 with a meeting in Konopnica will be organized as in 2003 in Krynica from 2.05.2004 to 8.05.2004 (Poland).
Krynica is a well known resort situated in Beskidy Mts. The main purpose of the conference is to present an overview of principal directions of research conducted in differential geometry, topology and analysis on manifolds and their applications, mainly (but not only) to Lie algebroids and related topics.
We would like to attract attention to:
- Riemannian, symplectic and Poisson manifolds
- index theorems
- Lie groups, Lie groupoids, Lie algebroids
- Lie-Rinehart algebras, Poisson algebras
- foliations
- characteristic classes.
We would be glad if you
contribute to the success of the conference by giving a lecture, or simply
by taking part in discussions. Participants of the Conference will be
lodged in Hotel "Baska" in Krynica of the University of Mining
and Metallurgy.
Full cost of the conference (accommodation and full board and
Proceedings) for foreign participants is 200 EU (for the accompanying
persons 180 EU).
The proceedings of the 6th Conference will be published in
