THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT

   We have the pleasure to inform you that the planned
6th Conference GEOMETRY AND TOPOLOGY OF MANIFOLDS has
met with some interest. 

   The list of participants is created automatically on our WWW page.  Participants of the conference will be lodged in Hotel ''Baska'' of the AGH University of Science and Technology.

   We are going to arrange our lectures in three blocks. The first will
include minicurses, the second will include plenary lectures, both will
take place mainly in the morning. The second one, with shorter lectures will be held in the afternoon. We consider organizing a poster session if necessary.

  A full day excursion in the mountain is planed.

  As during the previous meetings, we would like to distribute
abstracts of lectures. We kindly ask to send your abstracts
in LATEX together with either dvi or ps or pdf file by the
20th April 2004.

  We count on longer ones, even of several pages, or summaries.
They will be put on our WWW page. If necessary please update your registration paying particular attention
to the title of the talk.

   We have arranged that one of the volumes of the electronic
journal ''Central European Journal of Mathematics'' will be
dedicated to the proceedings of our meeting. The web address of the journal is the following:

   Organizers of the conference will print this volume of proceedings and
each participant will recive a copy of this issue. Authors will receive
additional prints. Estimated time of the appearance of the proceedings is

   Full cost of the conference (accommodation and full board) is 200 EU (180 EU for the accompanying persons). The participants are request to pay at the beginning of the conference.

   2nd May (Sunday) is planned as the day of arrival. The bus of the Jagiellonian University will leave the Mathematical Institute of UJ (Cracow) about the 3 p.m. The lectures will be held from 3th April to 8th May.

  There is a possibility to reserve a hotel room in Cracow for the nights 1/2 May or 8/9 May. Please inform Robert Wolak (Robert.Wolak@im.uj.edu.pl)

   The next announcement with the travel details to Krynica will
be sent by mid-April.
